Crikey! Photo Competition

I take all my images to teach people about our amazing nature and how important it is to protect it.

I thought I would share with you some very exciting news today. I am a finalist in the @australiazoo Crikey! Kids Photography Competition! I will have my two images exhibited at #australiazoo and the iconic Whale Mall, right outside @qldmuseum in Queensland’s Cultural Centre, South Bank and also be featured in the 2022 Summer Edition of Crikey!

These are my two photographs.

A Snake's Eye View

Found in coastal northern and eastern Australia, this beautiful green tree snake (Dendrelaphis punctulatus) is non venomous. They primarily feed on frogs, fish and small reptiles. When you see them up close, it’s easy to appreciate their amazing colours and patterns.

Location: Sunrise Beach, Queensland, Australia

‘Protect Me!’

Flying-foxes, like these little red flying-foxes (Pteropus scapulatus), are so important for pollination. They are a keystone species, critical to the health and reproduction of flowering tree species. By protecting flying-foxes we are protecting all of the other flora and fauna that depend on them.
